Gagandeep Gupta:
I have been working as purchase & Project Coordinator, have been working for the past 10 years in Mfg. as well as services industry. I have also worked in Canada as I have PR for that country. I would like to change my focus to some other industry
Answer: Gagandeep, Whenever you change your job (including change in the industry as is your case), you need to be sure what skills you are bringing to the table, for which the new company is willing to pay for. Therefore, you need to do your homework and find out the roles in BPO companies that would value your skills and experience. It would be best if you speak to someone senior from the BPO industry to get more inputs. However, you could use your skills in areas such as administration and facilities (as you have rightly identified). In order to do so, you need to be clear with the recruiters that this is the type of job you are looking for, so that they position you appropriately. Also, please approach reputed recruiters, who have your interests in mind.
